pleasant stay with great views

The room had a wonderful outlook over the river. The onsen experience was a standout, providing relaxation after our daily hikes. I particularly liked the diverse breakfast options, beautifully presented and flavorful. The views of the river enhanced our experience.

The walk from the station was a bit lengthy, especially with luggage.

Make sure you stay in the japanese-style room with the view of the river. The hotel is in the central location reasonably close to the station. Also it is very close to to many eating establishments as well as the river bank.

The staff were very amiable and knew how to help. We had a large bedroom. The decor here was Japanese. There was free Wi-Fi throughout the property and the service in general was exceptional...

Despite these concerns, the amenities, including the all-you-can-drink bar and manga reading room were great.

I was happy with hotel's good location asleep to the sound of the river. The staff were efficient and amicable as I expected. A great selection of meals for breakfast, it was awesome and generous. Location : the venue was right by attractions, restaurants, shops and plenty of things to explore around that area, and the train station for day trips. Was a unique base for trip.

The location is a bit of a trek from the station. A 20-minute walk uphill can challenge anyone with luggage. Had to settle for a smoking room, which smelled rather unpleasant and felt outdated. Dinner service timed poorly, affecting evening plans, and the age of some areas was evident, needing a bit of sprucing up.

Staying here was a good experience. I was on the Nakasendo trail, and this place provided the perfect spot to unwind. The spacious room offered a beautiful view of the river, and the cleanliness was spot on. I particularly enjoyed the onsen-it was immaculate and very relaxing after a day of hiking. The breakfast was diverse and beautifully presented.

The kids loved the onsen, and we appreciated the variety of free drinks available. The vibe was perfect for our family of six, especially with our four teenagers in tow.

My kids wished breakfast was open later for us night owls.

Great free laundry facilities and relaxing lobby area with board games. No pets allowed.
